adidas Brussel City Series

Straight from the 3 stripes archives the adidas Brussel trainer is revived in all its OG glory for February 2019.

To 3 stripes fanatics and collectors’ the original City Series is like the holy grail of all things adidas. Kicking off in the 1970s and continuing throughout the casual heydays of the 1980s the adidas City Series was exactly what is was called, a series of 3 stripes silhouettes with European cities for their names. Hamburg, London, Malmo, Dublin, Stockholm and Brussels are just some of the names from the original City Series with each shoe famously kitted out in its own unique colourway.

For February 2019 it’s the adidas Brussel from the original City Series that is treated to a re-release thanks to a global addias drop. Originally dropping back in the early 1970s the Brussel was the first adi’ style to don the colours of black and orange and is now revived with black suede uppers alongside bold orange leather 3 stripes & heel tab and  finished off with the classic gum sole unit. Can we expect more City Series re-issues from the 3 stripes brand for 2019? More than likely!
