The adidas Handball SPEZIAL Gets A St. Patrick’s Day Makeover
The adidas Handball SPEZIAL St. Patrick’s Day trainer celebrates the upcoming Irish festivities with an exclusive shamrock inspired drop.
In celebration of the forthcoming St.Patrick’s Day, or St. Paddys day as some like to call it, adidas reinterpret their legendary Handball SPEZIAL trainer with some Irish good luck. Originally dropping back in 1979, the adidas SPEZIAL started a legacy of court shoes from the 3 stripes brand designed for optimal performance whilst playing handball. Handball to many Germans is just as important as football, with the likes of the Handball SPEZIAL setting the benchmark for speed and traction in a sports shoe for years to come.
After a recent re-release, the classic Handball silhouette is given an Irish makeover with leprechaun green nubuck suede uppers and vermilion orange 3 stripes, heel tab and tongue tab. To give the trainer some added good luck of the Irish, the Handball SPEZIAL features a shamrock above the SPEZIAL gold foiling and is finished off with the famous gum rubber sole unit, originally built for optimal court performance.
The adidas Handball SPEZIAL St. Patrick’s Day trainer will be launching from exclusive adidas stockists worldwide such as 43einhalb.com soon. In other recent sneaker news you can also check out the RC Magazine iOS app which is available now to download.
