The adidas LXCON Trainer Was First Spotted On Jonah Hill
For January 2019 adidas introduce their latest chunky style sneaker with the LXCON, inspired by 90s runners.
Ever since Balenciaga dropped the Triple S, the chunky trainer trend has continued and doesn’t look like it’s slowing down anytime soon! First seen on Jonah Hill (Wolf Of Wall Street, 21 Jump Street) last year, the adidas LXCON now officially drops for 2019. Although by no means an official collaboration, it would be fair to say the Los Angeles born actor got the attention of sneaker heads worldwide.
Drawing inspiration from the adidas running archives of the 1990s, the LXCON merges the old with the new. Featuring breathable sock like knit uppers with a high profile Adiprene midsole design for that sought after chunky vibe. The lacing system harks back to the Equipment Series with updated trainer technology featuring plastic tubing running around the design for a snugger onfoot fit.
The adidas LXCON trainer will be dropping globally from adidas stockists worldwide from Saturday 26th January 2019 including 43einhalb.com. In other recent sneaker news you can also check out the forthcoming BAPE x Neighborhood x adidas POD S-31 trainer which drops this week.
