The ‘Never Made’ collection features hybrid silhouettes such as the adidas Micropacer x NMD R1 mixing classic 80s runners with some of the latest 3 stripes sneaker innovation.

If adidas wanted to compete with the likes of the Sean Wotherspoon x Nike Air Max 1/97 and the ever growing demand for hybrid sneakers, this latest ‘Never Made’ pack could well be their answer. Taking archive silhouettes, adidas have re-worked classic 3 stripes styles like the Micro Pacer, the Boston Super, the Risingstar, the Marathon, the Country and the ZX930 with a range of hybrid trainers. Giving a nod to the past and the present, the drop is set to light a fuse for both classic 3 stripes collectors and the modern day sneaker fanatics. Looking all the way back to the 1970s through to the 1990s with the addition of the latest 2018 trainer tech, the Never Made Pack includes the adidas Micropacer x NMD R1 which features the iconic silver uppers and stopwatch tongue of the Micropacer from 1984 alongside the revolutionary BOOST sole unit of the more recent NMD R1.

The adidas Country x Kamanda sees the uppers of the adidas Country trainer, which was originally released in 1970 as a cross country trainer, mixed together with the oversized grippy gum sole unit of the Kamanda for an updated terrace style. The adidas ZX930 x EQT combines two performance concepts with the uppers of the ZX930 originally released in 1988 from the celebrated ZX line and the BOOST sole unit of the EQT 91/18.

The adidas Boston Super x NMD R1 features the uppers of the classic runner from 1984 teamed up with the BOOST midsole of the NMD R1 whilst the adidas Risingstar x NMD R1 features the original silver uppers from the running silhouette, the Risingstar, also from 1984 and again teamed up with the sole unit of the celebrated NMD R1 trainer. Finally the adidas Marathon x I5923 puts an updated spin on the classic Marathon runner from 1979 with Dellinger webbing added to the midsole of the recently released I5923 as well as the uppers from the iconic late 70s runner.
