The adidas SPEZIAL AW17 campaign features Goldie alongside archive styles and classic 3 stripes from Gary Aspden.
Following on from the adidas SPEZIAL music connection, the exclusive 3 stripes label has teamed up with Goldie for their latest AW17 drop. An urban music legend since the early 90’s, Goldie was dropping beats decades before the SPEZIAL brand was even established. Specialising in dub, jungle and drum and bass, Goldie is your man if you are looking for classic mix tapes from the 90’s.
The adidas SPEZIAL line has built a loyal following over the years with Gary Aspden heading up the design and curation. Known for its archive pieces and 3 stripes nostalgia, this latest drop for AW17 is no different. The outerwear and apparel on offer is stronger than ever before with the likes of the Abenstein jacket packing PrimaLoft insulation. The Ardwick Anorak puts a contemporary take on classic workwear utilising Climastorm technology and the original colourways of the Ardwick SPEZIAL trainer, released previously.
Other apparel includes the Lapskaus tracksuits, the Kopelman padded vest and graphic T-shirts with slogans like ‘chasseurs de loisirs’ which translates as ‘shoes of leisure’.
On the footwear side, the adidas SPEZIAL AW17 range will include the Super Tobacco with an added toe overlay from the Bermuda trainer. Then there is the Intack and Spiritus each coming with its own dose of archival history and bold colourways. The Wensley SPZL released earlier in the year also makes it return in GT form taking design inspirations from the classic Samba silhouette. Other styles include the Lacombe, McCarten, the TRX SPZL and the Winterhill hiking inspired boot.
The adidas SPEZIAL AW17 will be launching from 22nd September 2017 from global stockists including END. Clothing.
