The next installment of the adidas Trimm Star size? Exclusive revives original colourways from the 1970s.

Its been 5 years (believe it or not) since size? last released their adidas Trimm Star Archive Series which saw 4 very exclusive colourways in 2013. 3 stripes fans and admirers will therefore be very pleased to know that the classic ‘ghilly lacing sytem’ trainer is back for 2018 in some original archive colourways. The Trimm Star first surfaced on the 3 stripes trainer scene in 1985, following a close relationship with the Trimm-Trab which was released 10 years earlier. The Trimm Star and Trimm-Trab both utilised the innovative ‘ghillie’ lacing system, looking fairly similar with the main notable difference being the sole unit size, with the Trimm-Star taking a slightly slimmer profile. The Trimm Star was also part of the ‘German Sports Confederation’ fitness range introduced in the 70’s, although its official release wasn’t until the mid 80’s.

adidas Trimm Star size? Exclusive

For 2018, the adidas Trimm Star is back with some very special size? Archive Exclusives. The first release sees an OG brown version with burgundy 3 stripes and heel tab, a colourway found from its original ‘German Sports Confederation’ use dating back to the 1970s. There are rumours cirulationg on the ‘3 stripes collectors’ scene that there will only be 3000 pairs released worldwide, which will no doubt mean the same demand and queuing we saw from the adidas Dublin re-release at size? stores last year.

The adidas Trimm Star size? Exclusive will be available from all size? stores this coming Friday 26th January 2018. Also keep posted for further developments as we believe there will be another exclusive purple colourway dropping in February 2018.
