Hanon Drop A Very Special Weather Inspired adidas New York Trainer
The adidas x Hanon New York trainer looks to the typical Scottish weather with an exclusive Consortium launch.
3 stripes fans, followers and admirers will of course know the adidas New York silhouette was brought back in 2015 thanks to the very ‘SPEZIAL‘ Carlos trainer. This time around the New York trainer pays homage to Scotland and its delightful seasonal weather with the ‘Dark Storm’ trainer in collaboration with Scotlands very own sneaker store and authority, Hanon. Based out of Aberdeen on the very North East coast of Scotland which is a 3 hour drive from Edinburgh and on a similar latitude level to the likes of Gothenburg in Sweden, its fair to say they don’t get the best of the weather. Rain, dark skies and cold are a daily affair for Aberdeeners, with the New York now taking inspiration from the Scottish weather system.
Features include the signature Dellinger webbing of the New York and bespoke woven jacquard uppers taking on a gradient affect from black to grey. The co-ordinates of Aberdeen have also been added to the rear of the tongue with collaboration branding added to the iconic 3 stripes.
The adidas x Hanon New York is available now from hanon-shop.com with a further release at global Consortium accounts this coming Saturday 9th December 2017.
