The adidas ZX 4000 Gets A Subtle Semi Solar Yellow Update
The late 80s adidas ZX 4000 is revived for March 2019 in some classic 90s OG running style colourways.
Originating back in 1984 when the sneaker race came to its most competitive point yet, the adidas ZX series saw numerous running 3 stripes running styles introduced from the Herzogenaurach based sportswear brand. After numerous ZX styles dropped throughout the 80s the ZX 4000 was first introduced in 1989 and carried on the running legacy of the original ZX 500 from 1984.
Following on from the introduction of the latest ZX 10000C trainer earlier in the year, ZX is officially back on the 3 stripes map, with adidas now re-releasing the original ZX 4000 in some OG style colourways. Highlights include a mixture of suede and mesh uppers, a lightweight EVA midsole, original trefoil branding to the heel, adidas Torsion sole technology and contrasting 3 stripes in semi solar yellow to each side.
The adidas ZX 4000 Semi Solar Yellow trainer is available now from adidas stockists worldwide including afew-store.com. In other recent adi’ news you can also check out the latest adidas SPEZIAL SS19 collection which also dropped this month.
