adidas Are Dropping The ZX 500 & Yung 1 With The Dragonball Z Pack
The adidas ZX500 Son Goku Dragonball Z trainer puts a Manga spin on the classic 80s running silhouette for September 2018.
In celebration of the celebrated Japanese Anime Dragonball Z Series which first aired in 1989, adidas will be dropping two classic running silhouettes from the 80s and 90s with the the Dragonball Z Pack. Featuring the ZX 500 which first made its mark on the running world in 1984, also starting the legacy of the ZX series, the classic 80s silhouette is given a Son Goku makeover, one of the most iconic characters of the series. With nylon and velour uppers in orange and blue, the ZX500 Son Goku also features BOOST technology to the sole unit with the famous Jinudjun cloud embroidered to the inner sides and an oversized trefoil logo to the tongue.
Also dropping as part of the adidas x Dragonball Z collab is the recently re-released Yung 1 silhouette this time taking the purple, white and pink hues from the Dragonball Z charachter Frieza. The late 90s silhouette features mesh and nubuck uppers with the shoes signature Torsion technology system to the sole unit.
