The BAPE x Predator capsule collection features alien/ape graphics, camo hoods and some 80s Schwarzenegger nostalgia.

They just don’t make films like Predator these days. An original sci-fi classic from 1987 featuring 80s action movie legends such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Carl Weathers, a group of US special forces go on a rescue mission for the CIA in the jungles of Central America and nothing is quite what it seems. The group of soldiers are followed by an alien which uses chameleon like stealth camouflage and infra red vision, hunting them down one at a time. The film builds up to the final scene whereby Schwarzenegger comes face to the face with the unmasked ‘Predator’ for a stand off ending with the alien blowing itself up. The 1987 film is highly regarded as one of Schwarzenegger greatest films, with classic movie quotes such as ” Get to the chopper” and ” Stick around”, the legacy of Predator lives on.

BAPE x Predator

Following on from last years Alien Covenant collaboration, BAPE now join forces with Predator for a very special ‘soon the hunt will begin’ capsule collection. The collection includes Predator/Ape graphics across tees, sweatshirts and camo hoodies with phrases like ‘No More Games’ alongside original shots from the film.

BAPE x Predator

The BAPE x Predator collection will be launching exclusively from BAPE stores this coming Saturday 15th September 2018. In other streetwear related news you can also check out the forthcoming Supreme x Comme des Garçons SHIRT® collab which also drops this week.
