Belstaff x Sophnet SS17 Editorial by RC
Classic Belstaff silhouettes get a Japanese streetwear makeover in this latest collaboration with Sophnet.
Premium British brand, Belstaff, head to Japan for a taste of Japanase Streetwear with their latest capsule collection with Sophnet. Sophnet was founded by Hirofumi Kiyonaga in 1998 and has sine become a huge player on the global streetwear scene from previous collaborations with the likes of Stüssy.
Iconic Belstaff styles are re-invigorated with modern street styling incorporating camo and Sophnet’s playful approach to apparel. Iconic Belstaff pieces like the Roadmaster are given the Japanese streetwear treatment adding a completely new ‘urban’ direction to arguably one of the most talked about motorcycle jackets of all time.
The Belstaff x Sophnet collection includes one of the Belstaff jacket classics, the Roadmaster, which features ‘woodland’ camo detailing on the elbows, lining and underarm. The collaboration Roadmaster comes in its durable all weather 60z waxed cotton material as well as a modern water repellent nylon, coming available in grey, black and khaki.
Other pieces in the collection include the Rebel Jacket, the Westbury Parka taking its inspiration from the Belstaff Foul Weather Parka and the Elmhurst Fleece Hoodie again adding a more streetwear dimension to the range.
The Belstaff x Sophnet capsule collection launches from belstaff.com this coming Saturday 4th February 2017 as well as stockists such as END. Clothing. You can also check out our recent Edits feature highlighting the Belstaff Roadmaster Jacket.
