Brain Dead & Carhartt WIP Drop Opaque Overshirts & Classic Workwear
The Brain Dead x Carhartt WIP collection celebrates the Detroit born brands’ workwear heritage with a Los Angeles streetwear makeover.
Founded in 2014 by Kyle Ng and Ed Davis, over the last 4 years the Los Angeles streetwear imprint, Brain Dead, has become one of the most talked about on the scene. The LA streetwear collective has now teamed up with Carhartt WIP for a collaboration collection of classic workwear merged with the 90s inspired heavy graphics of Brain Dead. There’s only really a handful of streetwear collaborations over the year that will remembered, the Brain Dead x Carhartt WIP drop looks like it could be one of them.
Highlights include Carhartt’s signature Hamilton brown bib overalls updated with ‘Brain Dead’ straps alongside collaboration branding and 90s style streetwear graphics down the left leg. We’re also treated to an opaque overshirt with ‘Fountain of Youth’ graphics to the rear alongside headwear, carpenter pants and graphic tees.
The Brain Dead x Carhartt WIP collection is set to launch this coming Saturday 14th July 2018 from carhartt-wip.com alongside Brand Dead stockists.
