The Clarks Originals x Wu Tang Clan Wallabee sees the first collaboration from the British shoemakers and East Coast hip hop group.

Ever since the likes of O’l Dirty Bastard, Ghostface Killah, RZA and Method Man burst onto the East Coast hip hop scene with 36 Chambers, the Wu-Tang Clan have long been associated with the wallabee shoe. Take their hit track ‘Gravel Pit’ for example taken from the album ‘The W’ with lyrics like “The best thing since Starks and Clark Wallabees, African killer bees blackwatch, On your radio, blowin out yo’ watts”. Members of the group have been regularly seen in the iconic shoe since the early 90s but up until now an ‘official collaboration’ so to speak had never happened.

Wu Tang Clan not only introduced their own clothing line, Wu Wear, in the 90s but also dropped an exclusive Nike Dunk Hi in 1999 followed by a collaboration with fellow New Yorker’s, ALIFE, back in 2007. For June 2018, the Staten Island born rappers now put their official stamp on the Clarks wallabee in collaboration with their own Wu Wear imprint.

The collaboration features 2 limited edition wallabee’s, one in all black and the other in cream/blue. Both feature all the original characteristics of the original wallabee with suede uppers and of course the famous crepe sole.
