Devlin Drops ‘Blue Skies’ From His ‘The Devil In’ Album
The East London rapper, Devlin, is back with his latest track ‘Blue Skies’ from his latest album ‘The Devil In’.
The Dagenham born grime artist Devlin has certainly been a busy MC over the last 10 years. The saying if you work hard you will make things happen couldn’t be more true to James Devlin. Devlin has been on the scene since 2006 gradually climbing the urban music ladder with 3 studio albums and collaborations with the likes of Skepta, Maverick Sabre, Tinie Tempah, Professor Green and Giggs. Tracks like ’50 Grand’ with Skepta showed the grime world what Devlin was all about, keeping things real and down to earth. 2017 marked his 3rd studio album following on from ‘Bud, Sweat and Beers’ in 2010 and ‘A Moving Picture’ in 2013.
Following the release of his 3rd studio album ‘The Devil In’ which was released earlier in the year, Devlin has now dropped his next track. ‘Blue Skies’ explores Devlin’s past of relationships and real life issues taking a more UK hip hop sound.
“17 years old when the streets were cold, running around in circles with thieves and thugs, only lady I loves was mums until I got deep involved with a girl that stole my soul, her breath filled up my lungs, and my hand was hers to hold.”
