Dizzee Rascal & Skepta come together for the very first time with ‘Money Right’ taken from Dizzee’s forthcoming EP.

As far as Grime collaborations go this is a big one. Although Skepta wasn’t really on the scene when Crazy Titch and Dizzee Rascal clashed on Conflict back in the early noughties and Sidewinder sets with Slimzee, he is still considered a pioneer of the scene, bringing back the underground Grime sound in 2014 with JME as well as introducing the sound to the states. Dizzee on the other hand came off the back of the UK Garage scene and was one of the original pioneers of the London underground scene, holding ‘Godfather’ status alongside fellow Roll Deep founder, Wiley.

Following on from collaborations with Manchester’s Bugsy Malone and Brighton’s Ocean Wisdom, Dizzee has now revealed his next collaboration with none other than Skepta. According to Dizzee, in a recent interview with NME, the track came about as the two artists were working recording together in the same building when Skepta showed him an instrumental. The track features bars from both London MC’s with piano samples and sounds from the classic 90s drum & bass track ‘Terror’ by Renegade, a big tune in its own right.
