Heron Preston & Nike Drop The Huarache E.D.G.E. Trainer
American streetwear designer Heron Preston has teamed up with Nike for this latest Huarache footwear collaboration.
The highly celebrated streetwear designer has previously designed a pair of Nike Tailwind sunglasses, with this latest drop marking his debut in creating sneakers in collaboration with the Oregon based sportswear brand. The original silhouette of the kicks is taken from the 1991 Huarache Run, but with a modern “HP” update. The sneakers are made of leather and textile upper with sythentic overlays giving an almost speaker cover aesthetic.
Detailing includes the breathable mesh on the inner sleeve which fits tightly on foot. Additionally, the new Huarache E.D.G.E. features rubber pods for stability, white Nike swooshes at the side and “СТИЛЬ” logo. Heron Preston puts his designer streetwear touches on the silhouette with its bright orange outsole and yellow “PULL” tabs.
The Heron Preston x Nike Huarache E.D.G.E. trainer is available now exclusively from heronpreston.com. In other recent sneaker news you can also check out our feature exploring why the adidas UltraBOOST 19 is the most responsive design ever.
