The Russian ‘Antagonist’ techwear brand, Krakatau, deliver a range of urban technical goodies.
We were one of the first places to tell you about the Russian brand Krakatau. First featured back in early 2016, their approach to apparel is urban, ‘Antagonist’, and most of all geared up for the cold. As Russian brands like Gosha Rubchinskiy have dominated the streetwear scene in the last 12 months, its Krakatau that are leading the path in Russian techwear.
The latest collection features a range of uberly tech outerwear from parkas to bomber jackets using materials like biodegradable polyurethane and 3L fabrics. Highlights include the Winter Trench Kurokawa jacket which features a removable hood mask and sustainable wadding by DuPont Sorona offering cold protection up to -15 Degrees Celsius. The Marcasite Long Parka ups the cold weather anti even further offering warmth up to -30 Degrees Celsius, lets just say it gets pretty cold in Russia. Other features include taped seams, magnetic flaps, inner hoods and pockets for the ultimate in cold temperature protection.
