Lorenzo Osti Talks About The History Of C.P. Company & Garment Dyeing
C.P. Company presents this latest video featuring Lorenzo Osti talking about his father’s legacy and the birth of garment dying.
Lorenzo Osti and Paul Harvey both feature in this latest video from C.P. Company which explores the origins of garment dyeing and the significance it still holds with the brand today. From its origins in 1971, Massimo Osti would go on to become the first designer to use and experiment with the garment dyeing process throughout the 1970s. Garment dyeing allowed Osti to create unique colours thanks to the use of multiple fabrics and a single bath of colour with his brands Stone Island and C.P. Company. An interesting fact from Lorenzo from the video is that Fred Perry didn’t like the Chester Perry name so due to legal reasons the name was actually changed to the initials, C.P.
