New Balance Are Releasing The 997 ‘Marblehead’ Trainer
Launching for February 2019, Boston born sneaker giants New Balance will drop their latest 997 trainer titled ‘Marblehead’.
The New Balance 997 silhouette originally dropped as part of the 990 series back in 1991 and was the first silhouette to merge their ENCAP & C-CAP shock absorbing sole technology. The early 90s runner is now re-issued for 2019 with premium pigskin and mesh uppers in all its OG glory. Comprising of a grey mesh upper, beige suede linings and intricate blue detailing, perhaps the most exciting part of the ‘Marblehead’ is the updated sole unit. With a PU midsole exterior and cored out window, the trainer displays its full ABZORB technology. The shock absorbing midsole runs from heel to toe and combines a single piece TPU shank to provide comfort and stability like never before.
The New Balance 997 Marblehead trainer will be launching from New Balance stockists such as 43einhalb.com from Saturday 2nd February 2019. In other recent OG sneaker news you can also check out the Reebok Bolton trainer which is also re-released for 2019.
