Nike Give The Air Max 1 The Terry Cotton Swoosh Treatment
The Nike Air Max 1 Terry Cotton Swoosh trainer puts a new towelling spin on the legendary Tinker Hatfield silhouette from 1987.
There’s certainly been a lot of new ‘visible air’ silhouettes join the Air Max family over the last 30 years. However, as far as all time classics go, it doesn’t really get much more ‘classic’ than the original, and the very first of the Air Max legacy, the Nike Air Max 1. Originally designed by the legendary Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield, the Air Max 1 was designed with running at its core, however quickly became a favourite with sneaker enthusiasts and collectors following its initial release in 1987.
For December 2018, the classic late 80s Air Max silhouette is given a subtle update with Terry Cotton Towelling to the side swooshes and tongue. Other features include cord detailing to the uppers as well as the iconic Air Max 1 sole unit.
The Nike Air Max 1 Terry Cotton Swoosh trainer will be dropping from Nike stockists such as afew-store.com from Thursday 13th December 2018. In other recent sneaker news you can also check out the forthcoming Nike Air Max 97 Shipping Box trainer which also drops this month.
