Nike Air Max 97 London Summer Of Love

From the Nike Air Max 98 La Mezcla by Gabrielle Serrano to the Nike Air Max 97 London Summer of Love by Jasmine Lasode here are the 6 winning Nike: On Air designs.

As you may already be aware Nike: On Air took place in 2018 and saw workshops in NYC, London, Paris, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo, inviting local creatives to put their own spin on Air Max silhouettes. Just like we did our own design with the RC x Nike Air Max 1 ‘Madchester’ trainer last year, Nike: On Air saw 18 finalists and designs then narrowed to 6 winners from each workshop. The winning designs can now be revealed in actual form and will start dropping from April 2019.

With some of the freshest designs to recently come out of the Oregon based sneaker design house we are treated to classic 90s silhouettes like the Air Max 97 and the Air Max 98 alongside more recent styles likes the VaporMax. Drawing inspiration from everything from, the different ethnic backgrounds of NYC, the neon lights of Seoul, the price labels of London corner shops, the underground tube lines of Tokyo, an under construction Parisian courthouse and the clouds of Shanghais’ skyline.

Nike On Air Winners 2018

The Nike Air Max 97 London Summer Of Love and other winning Nike: On Air styles are set to drop from April 2019.
