That Late 90s Air Max Classic Now Drops In ‘Pure Platinum’
For the latest offerings from the legendary Oregon based sportswear brand the Nike Air Max 97 is given the ‘Pure Platinum’ treatment.
If any sneaker revival has already stood the test of time it’s the Nike Air Max 97. Its been 2 years now since the re-release of the late 90s Bullet Trainer inspired silhouette and it’s still making waves on the global sneaker scene. Traditionally re-releases have hung around for a year maybe tops, however with the recent Air Max revival it looks like it could on for a lot longer. When all said and done it’s still the OG stuff that sneaker heads are after and this ‘Pure Platinum’ drop is exactly that!
Highlights of the late 90s runner include uppers in ‘Pure Platinum’ white with contrasting detailing such as mini swooshes, heel loop and Air Max branding in ‘Team Orange’ sitting on top of the legendary full length Air Max 97 sole unit.
The Nike Air Max 97 Pure Platinum trainer is available now from Nike global stockists including afew-store.com. In other recent sneaker news you can also check out the forthcoming Nike Air Max 720 colourways for February 2019.
