Take An On Feet Look At The Nike Air Max 97 Shipping Box Trainer
Nike give the Air Max 97 the ‘Amazon’, ‘Ebay’ and ‘packaging’ treatment with the Shipping Box trainer for 2019.
Sending sneakers through the post is certainly big business as sneaker heads wait eagerly at the door, tracking number at the ready, following their courier as they get closer to their street. It’s usually the parcel on the outside of the box, however this latest drop from Nike looks to flip the parcel to the inside of the shoe box. The late 90s Bullet Train inspired Air Max silhouette is now given the parcel and packaging treatment with this latest ‘shipping box’ trainer.
Alongside the brown cardboard inspired colourways of ale brown and elemental gold hues to the uppers, the Air Max 97 also features a translucent outsole with a barcode, as well as a parcel tape inspired silver and white pull tab to the tongue. Other highlights include a stamp box certificate to the insole with ‘Memphis Tennessee’ a reference to Nike’s US shipping HQ.
The Nike Air Max 97 Shipping Box trainer is available now from global Nike stockists such as afew-store.com. In other recent sneaker news you can also check out the forthcoming Nike Air Max 97 All Star Jersey trainer which drops this weekend.
