The Nike x Virgil Abloh pop up space by END. celebrates the 10 sneaker silhouettes from all time classics to modern day.
OFF-WHITE’s founder, Virgil Abloh, has collaborated with Nike on a collection of very special Nike trainers and classics. Before Abloh became a streetwear icon and OFF-WHITE had taken off, he use to send sketches to Nike of new sneaker concepts. Collaborating with the giant sportswear brand has been something on his to do list for a long time with 2017 boxing off a life long dream for the Illinois born creative.
The Nike x Virgil Abloh collection features a total of 10 Nike silhouettes including the Blazer Mid, Air Max 97, Air Force 1 Low, Air Vapormax Flyknit, Zoom Vaporfly, Hyperdunk, Air Presto, Air Jordan 1, Nike Air Max 90 and the Converse Chuck Taylor collab. A distinct minimal white and translucent theme runs throughout the collection with features such as red cable ties fixed to each trainer as well as black text throughout with the words ‘Air’, ‘Shoe Laces’, and ‘Foam’.
In celebration of the Nike x Virgil Abloh ‘The Ten’ collection, END. Clothing have created a very special pop up space in Shoreditch, London telling the story of each shoe through the eyes of Abloh himself. The Nike x Virgil Abloh pop up space is located at 347 Old Street, London, EC1V 9LP and is open now until Saturday 18th November 2017.
