Virgil Abloh Puts His Stamp On The Converse Chuck Taylor Again For 2018
The OFF-WHITE x Converse Chuck Taylor is back for October 2018 only this time with the signature black and white stripes of the world famous premium streetwear brand.
Virgil Abloh’s collaborations with Nike have seen some of the highest sneaker resale values of the year so far. Having taking over Converse in the early noughties, its no surprise really that Nike wanted the all American trainer brand in on the Abloh action. Following on from the first collaboration Chuck Taylor that dropped earlier in the year, Virgil Abloh now puts his unique stamp on the classic silhouette once again for October 20018.
Featuring the usual ‘does what it says’ labeling like “shoe laces”, zip ties, All Star orange tab branding, the second collaboration Chuck Taylor also features the signature OFF-WHITE black and white safety stripes to the rubber midsole giving the shoe a completely unique aesthetic. As usual with anything OFF-WHITE trainer related expect quick sell outs and high resale prices.
The OFF-WHITE x Converse Chuck Taylor is available now for registration from END. Launches and will be launching from 8th October 2018. In other sneaker related news you can also check out the Supreme x Vans Sid Pro trainer which drops this week.
