Patta & Nike Are Dropping A Hybrid Air Max 90/95 Trainer
The Patta x Nike Air Max 90/95 trainer is dropping as part of the “Publicity. Publicity. Wohoooow!” collaboration collection for 2018.
When Patta have collaborated with Nike on the Air Max silhouette in previous years, the end result has seen some of the most expensive sneakers on the resale market. Take for example the Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1 Cherrywood from 2010 which now has a resale value somewhere in the region $1500 and the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 5th Anniversary Black/Lucky Green from 2009 valued at just over $1000. It would be fair to say the Patta x Nike Air Max partnership has become something very special among sneaker heads, resale enthusiasts and sneaker collectors all over the world.
For October 2018, Patta team up with Nike once again, this time around with the “Publicity. Publicity. Wohoooow!” collection teaming up with 11 artists for a collection of apparel and Air Max sneakers. Highlights of the apparel drop include utility style tracksuits in a check print and coach jackets with bold collaboration graphics. However, its the hybrid Air Max trainer which really steals the show which includes the uppers of the Air Max 90 and the sole unit of the Air Max 95 which is available in two different colourways. The first is all black with a brown swoosh and fluorescent green tongue, the second features black/navy uppers with a red swoosh and a white Air Max 95 sole unit.
“Traveling. Visiting each other. Getting to know each other. For us, that is where the collaboration between Nike and Patta started.”
Vincent Van de Waal, Patta
