Patta Put Their Touches On Some PUMA Classics With The Clyde
The Patta x PUMA Clyde trainer sees Amsterdam street vibes paired up with iconic basketball silhouettes.
Following on from last week’s news of the Patta SS17 forthcoming releases, the Amsterdam streetwear authority have now released the news of their latest collaboration with PUMA.
Streetwear meets classic sportswear with the Patta x PUMA Clyde trainer, re-invigorating the classic 1970’s basketball inspired sneaker. The Clyde not only became a big hitter on the Basketball court thanks to Walt Frazier, but also on the streets with the burgeoning hip hop movement of the early 80’s. This latest partnership from Patta & PUMA sees the Clyde decked out in premium nubuck uppers available in burnt orange or black. Collaboration branding features to the tongue with abbreviated embossing of the brands home towns, Amsterdam and Herzogenaurach to the sides.
After venturing into London last year with their latest flagship store its seems Patta are now looking to test the waters in the USA. In a joint partnership with LA’s Undefeated store, the two will be launching a pop up store in LA this February. The collaboration will also feature some limited editions tees as part of the drop.
The Patta x PUMA Clyde will be launching from their LA pop up store as well as patta.nl from this coming Friday, February 17th 2017. In other Patta related news you can also check out the latest Patta SS17 collection.
