London ON AIR 2018 will take place from 9th April to 12th April and will give the participants a chance to design the next London Air Max trainer.

Skepta will be providing his expertise alongside a panel of judges and creatives in deciding the winner of London ON AIR 2018. The world renowned UK Grime artist put his own twist on the Skepta x Nike Air Max 97 trainer in 2017, however this time around his role will be to select the top 3 Air Max designs over the course of the 3 day creative event. Other panelists will include, Nate Job, Nike Senior Design Director and Courtney Daily, Nike VP Creative Director of Colour Design.

London ON AIR will run for 3 days from 9th April 2018 and will include creative sessions where the general public can apply to design their own concept for the next London Air Max trainer based around previous Nike Air Max styles. No doubt the signature red London buses, the colours of the different underground lines and maybe even Big Ben will all be incorporated into the designs somewhere but only 3 designs will make it to the final ON AIR voting selection. Will we see the next Sean Wotherspoon UK equivalent for 2018 or 2019? Keep posted at RC Magazine.

London ON AIR is still open for registration at nike.com. In other Air Max news you can also check the latest VaporMax Plus Volt trainer.
