The Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe Trainer Is Officially Dropping This Week
We can now reveal the official shots and release dates for the Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe trainer drop.
After plenty of teasing across social media from industry insiders and sneaker heads, Nike have now unveiled the official shots of their 3rd Air Max collaboration trainer with the UK Grime artist, Skepta. Following on from last years Moroccan inspired Air Max 97 and more recently the hybrid Air Max 97/BW, the two now join forces again for September 2018 on the recently revived Air Max Deluxe.
The popular late 90s silhouette now gets ‘Shut Down’ thanks thanks to the Grime heavyweight with graphic details like ‘June 08 2014’ a date reference to the release date of Skepta‘s ‘That’s Not Me’ track with his brother JME, which brought back Grime from the underground to its original early noughties sound. Other highlights include digitally printed nylon uppers with a white noise style print and a full lenght red Air Max sole unit.
The Skepta x Nike Air Max Deluxe ‘Never Sleep on Tour’ trainer will be launching from size? and size? stores this coming Saturday 8th September 2018. In other recent Air Max news you can also check out the recently released Nike Air Max 97 ‘Smokey Mauve’ trainer.
