The Stone Island AW18 collection features everything from military inspired smocks, slanted zip systems, heat reactive materials and tiger camouflage.

Following on from our recent interview with Carlo Rivetti at the Milan design week, Stone Island have now unveiled their offerings for the forthcoming AW18 season. The ongoing ‘Ghost Piece’ story is continued with a selection of all cream (including the compass arm badge) jackets, hoodies and utility pants. The stand out piece of the collection has probably got to be the white tiger camo print which features across outerwear and sweatshirts following on from the recent alligator camoΒ print concept for SS18.

Outerwear is offered in a variety of different styles from military inspired smocks and multi pocket field jackets dressed up the good old fashioned Stoney way utilising an assortment of technical fabrics. From garment dyed crinkle reps, raso gommato and a packable garment dyed micro yarn, each piece boasts its own unique design process and story.

Other highlights of the AW18 collection include pull over style down jackets, thermo sensitive fabric outerwear (more to be revealed later), garment dyed hoodies and sweatshirts with key colours ranging from mustard yellow to vibrant purples hues.
