The Stone Island Ice Knit Thermo Sensitive Yarn concept changes colour in different temperatures.

The Stone Island Ice Jacket could quite well be one of the most sought after pieces from the Italian sportswear label ever. Over the last 5 years or so it has seen a variety of different styles including the Stone Island Resin-T Shell Down Ice Jacket which was released in 2016. However, one thing that remains key to each Ice Jacket concept is its ability to change to colour in the cold. The next instalment of colour changing garments comes in the form of knitwear and the Stone Island Ice Knit Thermo Sensitive Yarn concept.

Stone Island Ice Knit

Each piece from the Ice Knit collection features a double knit construction with the outer knit made from a thermo-sensitive yarn. As the temperature changes from warm to cold the knit changes colour. The collection includes crew neck sweaters, cardigan knit hoodies and hats each with different colour changing qualities from yellow to orange, white to grey and emerald to military green.

The Stone Island Ice Knit collection is available now from stoneisland.com. You can also check out the latest Stone Island Shadow Project AW17 video.
