The next instalment of Shadow Project from Stone Island and Acronym includes slanted pockets, carry systems and military silhouettes.
Stone Island Shadow Project have been pretty much setting the standard in techwear since its formation in 2008. A collaboration platform between two of the biggest ‘technical’ brands on the planet, Stone Island & Acronym, it was never really going to disappoint. As both brands have grown in new directions over the last 10 years, the Stone Island Shadow Project AW17 collection raises the bar on the global techwear concept.
Shadow Project AW17 features some big Down Jackets featuring the connecting strap and carry systems we have seen in recent years from Acronym. Technical fabrics and plenty of garment dyeing sees one of a kind finishes across a collection of military inspired pieces. The Shadow Project Fusion Gaiter features a fully masked cotton beanie with a zip opening for the eyes in true ‘techwear’ style. The Padded Fishtail Parka features that signature Acronym cut and hood made from Stone Island’s TELA 50 FILI 2L fabric. Stone Island badges are partially hidden on some pieces as well as tilted storage pockets to the rear of some garments.
