Stone Island SS18 references their 90s heydays whilst also looking ahead with futuristic designs.

Stone Island’s latest SS18 collection has clear archival inspiration with outerwear adopting classic Stone Island colourways and cuts. The original 90s baggy styles have been tapered to modern fits with a selection of classic Stoney outerwear pieces in signature fabrics like Raso Gommato, Mirco Reps and denim that will no doubt keep the OG’ fans happy.

Alongside archival inspired pieces we see the introduction of modern day Stone Island design concepts with a new camo print, futuristic fabrics from opaque to shimmer affects and the on going Ghost story. Slanted zips and big utilitarian style pockets feature heavily across military inspired smock jackets and sweats utilising fabrics such as garment dyed micro yarn and nylon metal watro.

The Stone Island SS18 collection will be available shortly from stoneisland.com. In other recent Stoney features you can also check our article looking at the Stone Island Drake relationship.
