The Supreme x The North Face AW17 drop features classic TNF’ outdoors pieces utilising leather and a trio of colours.
Its always big news whenever Supreme & The North Face announce their collaborations, whether its 2017 or 2007 when the two first joined forces. 10 years is a long time for any relationship to last but this special collaboration always seems to get the streetwear headlines and will continue to do so. We’ve seen everything from GORE-TEX to sleeping bags from this sought after partnership, with this latest instalment again looking to classic TNF’ pieces from the last 30 years.
The AW17 collab’ is all about the Leather Nuptse Jacket, a staple piece of outerwear from The North Face. The Nuptse was originally released in 1992 during an era of what now is considered ‘classic’ on the streetwear scene. The 90’s silhouette is re-worked in typical Supreme fashion in cowhide leather. The big Nuptse jacket also packs the latest garment warming capabilities with 700 Fill Down Insulation. Following on with the leather theme, Supreme have also re-worked the classic Base Camp Duffel Bag which celebrated its 30th anniversary last year, the The North Face Daypack and The North Face Roo II Lumber Pack. Each piece dropping in the collection including the Nupste and bags are available in yellow, black or red.
The Supreme x The North Face AW17 drop will be launching exclusively from supremenewyork.com and their flagship stores from Thursday 19th October 2017. You should also take a look at our feature exploring some of the best streetwear collaborations from the last 5 years.
