Slam Jam’s Red Label from The North Face follows on with the layering protection concept for AW16.
Now into its 2nd season, The North Face Red Label comes back as part of a design partnership with Italy’s, Slam Jam, combining innovative garment technology with street ready pieces. The concept behind the range is pieces that can be layered, just like the The North Face Red Label Denali Insulated Jacket we featured from the SS16 collection. Obviously for winter the collection sees kit more geared up for the cold with a 5 piece collection of outerwear and layering systems. Fully detachable hoods and a clever snap attachable system allows you to create a brand new piece by combining two together.
The North Face Red Label Denali Full Zip Jacket offers exceptional warmth combined with modern styling and was originally released back in ’92. The new re-vamped silhouette gets treated to some technical 2016 treatment coming in a Pertex Quantum® fabric which is breathable and features Polartec® thermal & Windtec technology. Other features include a full zip placket front with a magnetic-snap storm flap and fully removable goose down hood with shock cord regulation system. The Denali Jacket acts as under layering piece for the collection with snap attachments.
The Mountain Baldir Triclimate is the most premium piece of the collection featuring GORE-TEX technology as well as a completely removable inner Pertex Quantum® filled gilet. The hood is also fully removable with a shock cord regulation system. Other features include tape sealed water repellent pockets and magnetic snaps.
The 1990 Mountain Shell takes its silhouette inspiration from the classic 1990 Mountain Jacket and is fully seam sealed. Coming in a 2L DryVent™ fabric to help battle the wet weather conditions with two large functional pockets to the front. The Hoodoo Woven Jacket and the Hoodoo Woven Shirt both come in a khaki green style colourway with the jacket again opting for Pertex Quantum® & GORE-TEX technology. The shirt features 550-800 Fill Goose Down adding some serious warmth in the cold.
