The Wood Wood x Barbour collection combines British heritage with Scandinavian streetwear.

If you didn’t already know, 2017 marks the 15th anniversary of the Danish brand, Wood Wood. To celebrate their coming of age Wood Wood have already collaborated with adidas Originals, Champion and ASICS so far this year. The next instalment of their anniversary collaborations sees them coming together with British heritage brand, Barbour. Barbour have come together on some amazing collaborations in the last 5 years from White Mountaineering and adidas also. The first Wood Wood x Barbour instalment came back in 2012 after the two came together on an exclusive outerwear piece. For September 2017 the collaboration comes into force again with a collection of winter ready wax cotton exclusives.

Obvisouly when Barbour get involved with any collab’, their wax cotton jackets get the most attention. The Wood Wood x Barbour collection features 4 jackets including the Valby and Souter wax jackets both with the removal of the front button placket. Then there is the Kilde and the Amager jackets which take mariner inspiration and classic Barbour style. Other pieces in the collection include graphic tees with slogans such as ‘The North’ referencing the 55th parallel a nod to the latitude position of both brands headquarters as well as knitwear, shirts and pants.

The Wood Wood x Barbour collection will be launching fromย woodwood.com this coming Saturday 9th September 2017.
