2024 Toyota Tundra adds Nightshade package, gets more expensive

2024 Toyota Tundra Nightshade package

The Toyota Tundra 2024 enters its current model year with a few tweaks and a price hike.

Toyota has already documented the TRD three-inch suspension raise kit for us, but instead of being a dealer-installed option, you can now get it directly from Toyota. Furthermore, the Nightshade Package replaces the SX Package as the box to check in order to black out everything.

Previously, the SX Package was only available on the SR5, but the Nightshade will only be available on the more premium Limited trim. The kit, which includes blacked-out wheels, over-fenders, grille, mirror caps, and badges, will be available in Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, Magnetic Grey Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, Supersonic Red, Lunar Rock, and Blueprint paint colors.

New pricing comes with the new model year. The SR’s base price climbs by $1,000 in 2024 to $41,815. The price increases range by a few hundred dollars across the lineup, but they’re all around or over $1,000 more than the previous model year’s pricing. The top-tier Capstone trim now starts at $80,695, while the TRD Pro starts at $73,980. All Tundra levels with the i-Force Max hybrid powertrain receive similar price hikes, but no more than $1,210 in any one model. The Tundra 2024 is expected to hit dealer showrooms soon.
