The 2025 Audi A3 is getting a mid-cycle facelift that includes a variety of design and technology improvements. The information is hazy because the new Audi has only been released for Europe and has yet to add specifications for the U.S.
The 2017 Audi features a redesigned frameless grille that seems broader and flatter. The front end features its emblem, new lower bumper, and side air intakes. It has a trick up its sleeve: configurable daytime running light signatures. Audi’s infotainment system offers four different design options. The improvements include a new rear bumper and a reworked lower valance.
In the interior, a new shifter design replaces the previous Porsche-like nub with a chunkier sliding piece that lies virtually flush with the center console. The air vents, ornamental cloth on the dash, and ambient lighting with 30 colors are also new. The cloth panel was laser-cut 300 times to allow light to shine through, giving it a distinct appearance.
The audio upgrade will include a new Sonos 3D sound system, which is all about new technology within the cabin. Audi claims it is introducing the “Allstreet,” a boosted version of the Sportback vehicle, in Europe.
