For the latest Acronym AW18 drop Errolson Hugh reminds us who the ‘Techwear Daddy’ is with Gore-Tex outerwear and a selection of X-Pac™ fabric carry systems.

Following on from the Acronym x Nike Air Presto Mid trainer collab and of course the recent 10th anniversary Stone Island Shadow Project collection, the Techwear guru, Errolson Hugh, now turns is attention to the Acronym AW18 collection which features an assortment of technical outerwear and hybrid bag systems. Outerwear includes pieces like the J63A and J46 Jacket which features 2L Gore-Tex® Infinium™ fabric tech, the latest type of GORE-TEX technology which focuses on softness as oppose to toughness of the material. The Acronym J74 utilises Polartec® Alpha® temperature regulating insulation as well as an assortment of subsystems such as Hugh’s signature ‘jacket sling’ system.

Alongside the outerwear there is also the introduction of some ‘Made in Bolivia’ Linear Vest styles with Boiled Merino Wool fabrics and LlamaSoft® dehairing technology as well as military spec ‘Made in Switzerland’ HD cotton cargo pants. The collection is finished off with an assortment of ‘Made in USA’ multi functional hybrid carry systems including messenger silhouettes and the robust X-Pac™ fabric technology. An assortment of subsystems are also available for each style such as compression and speedzip pockets to mix and match as you please.
