Genesis has unveiled a refreshed version of the Electrified G80 at the Busan International Mobility Show. This update brings notable enhancements, including a substantial increase in driving range.
The new fourth-generation 94.5 kWh battery allows the G80 Electrified to cover up to 475 km on a single charge, based on Korean testing standards.
The updated model features improved front and rear suspension bushes, an Electronically Controlled Suspension (ECS), and active rear-wheel steering (RWS) for a smoother driving experience.
Exterior updates include a new gradient G-Matrix pattern on the signature grille, a larger air intake, and a heated, illuminated charging port for added convenience.
The wheelbase has been extended by 130 mm, enhancing rear legroom and headroom, while the new Active Sound design reduces road noise, improving cabin serenity.
Inside, the Electrified G80 boasts a 27-inch OLED infotainment and driver display, which can be split for multitasking. A new 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system with Dolby ATMOS, fingerprint authentication, and a heated front seat console armrest are added.
The new “Chauffer Mode” optimizes ride comfort, and the one-button rear door system and electric door curtain provide additional luxury.
Priced at around €60,300 in Korea and starting at €67,027 in the US, the updated Electrified G80 continues Genesis’s commitment to luxury and carbon neutrality, addressing previous concerns with improved features and performance.
