2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid debuts as the middle-rung PHEV variant

Porsche 2024 Cayenne S E-Hybrid

There’s yet another Cayenne variation! This is the 2024 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid, and it will be offered in both SUV and Coupe body styles.

The S E-Hybrid joins a growing number of versions for the Cayenne, which has been significantly redesigned. It’s also the third hybrid, sitting between the basic E-Hybrid and the supercharged Turbo E-Hybrid. As you’d expect from a “S” model, output is somewhat improved above the base E-Hybrid. That’s 49 horsepower and 74 pound-feet of torque more than the E-Hybrid, and Porsche claims a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds.

The extra power is attributed to a redesigned 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine beneath the hood, according to Porsche. It also comes standard with Porsche’s adaptive air suspension, Sport Chrono, a quad exhaust, and 20-inch wheels.

The normal Cayenne S E-Hybrid has a silver exterior package, whereas the Coupe has a black exterior package. Standard features include the Diamar interior package in Silvershade, stainless steel pedals, eight-way power seats, Matrix LED headlights, and blind-spot alert.

The extra performance and features of the S will cost a little more than the basic E-Hybrid. The standard price starts at $100,750, but if you want the Coupe body type, the price jumps to $105,650. According to Porsche, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid can be purchased now and will be available in showrooms in spring 2024.
