A mid-cycle redesign for the four-door luxury car, the 2025 Cadillac CT5 debuts several significant improvements and modifications. Two exterior style changes are a new headlight design and a revised front fascia. Notably, the Cadillac CT5’s lighting arrangement is comparable to that of its sedan peers, with the most recent model-year update being in 2025.
For readers who might not know, the Cadillac CT5’s lighting design never entirely “blended in” with that of its respective Cadillac sedan counterparts. Still, in the CT5, this line was “interrupted” by a body-colored split that divided the DRL into various portions.
However, this is no longer the case with the release of the revised 2025 CT5. The updated CT5 fascia features uninterrupted DRL lines on either side of the front end, providing continuity between the redesigned 2025 CT5 and the rest of the Cadillac sedan design motif.
The Cadillac ATS family, first-generation Cadillac CT6, Cadillac CT4, and second-generation Cadillac CT6 all featured continuous vertical DLR lighting elements. Cadillac sedans have uninterrupted vertical DLR lighting elements, whereas the brand’s crossovers and SUVs have interrupted DRLs.
The 2025 CT5 has two engine options: the turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine and the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 LGY gasoline engine.
