Hyundai Unveils its Top-of-The-Line Ioniq 9 Electric SUV

Hyundai has unveiled the Ioniq 9, its latest three-row electric SUV, built on the cutting-edge E-GMP platform. Designed for families and eco-conscious drivers, this spacious and sustainable vehicle boasts futuristic styling, powerful performance, and innovative features.

Sleek Design Meets Eco-Friendly Innovation

The Ioniq 9 introduces an “aerosthetic” design, combining aerodynamic efficiency with striking aesthetics. It features pixel-inspired LED lighting, a low drag coefficient of 0.259 Cd, and unique color options like Celadon Gray Matte. Inside, the cabin incorporates sustainable materials, including recycled fabrics and responsibly sourced leather.

Performance and Range

Equipped with a 110.3 kWh battery pack, the Ioniq 9 offers three powertrain options:

  • Single-Motor Long Range: 539 km range, 215 HP.
  • Dual-Motor Long Range: 310 HP.
  • Performance Variant: 430 HP, 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, 200 km/h top speed.

With 350-kW fast charging, it recharges from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes.

Family-Friendly Features

This SUV offers a spacious interior with seating for six or seven, Relaxation Seats, and clever additions like UV-C sterilizers, a sliding center console, and ample storage. The flat-folding seats make it ideal for road trips and camping adventures.

Launch and Pricing

Expected to hit the market early next year, the Ioniq 9 is estimated to start at $50,000, reaching up to $80,000 for premium trims.
