On Wednesday, Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) declared that the Wrangler and Gladiator’s new factory 2-inch raise kit was now available. The kit comprises new front lower control arms, front and rear stabiliser links, front and rear bump stops, as well as all required fastening hardware, in addition to the four larger springs and remote-reservoir Bilstein shocks. Even the wooden carton has the JPP logo on it.
Jim Morrison, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, said, “We can’t wait for our Jeep off-road community to experience the new Jeep Performance Parts lift kit with Bilstein shocks on Wrangler and Gladiator this summer.” For fans who desire to traverse the most difficult terrains, nothing compares to the iconic Jeep 4×4 prowess.
The kit isn’t one-size-fits-all because the springs and dampers must be matched to the weight of the rig they’ll be installed on. But that doesn’t mean no one is left out. Each Wrangler and Gladiator powerplant Jeep has provided, including the EcoDiesel and 392, has a component number that fits all model years of the current Wrangler and Gladiator.
The package costs $2,095 and may be ordered through a Mopar parts dealer or the company’s website.
