QCODE Shows the Future of Premium Audio Podcasts

QCODE

The release date for QCODE ‘s all-new fantasy epic podcast series Birds of Empire has been announced. As I received an early release of episode one, and it’s an incredible audio experience worth sitting in a comfortable chair, pouring a cup of coffee, closing your eyes, and allowing your imagination to transport you to another world. It’s unlike any other audiobook or podcast you’ve ever heard.

Jason Lew’s upcoming series has been described as a “modern folk epic in the vein of Game of Thrones that blends history, fantasy, and myth”. And It is the company’s largest release to date, according to QCODE. The series consists of eight episodes, each about 45 minutes long.

It’s on par with the first time The Lord of the Rings is in a theatre, but with cinematic audio. It’s a completely immersive experience when paired with high-quality headphones. The show is set in New Dakota, but it’s 15,000 CE, and civilization has fallen for thousands of years.

The Earth has reclaimed the modern world’s cities and glories, reducing humanity to prehistoric tribal life. Only myths and fables passed down through lost generations provide knowledge of the old world. After barely surviving, humanity has reverted to a way of life more akin to ancient civilizations: The Bears, The Rams.

Book 1 — The Dawn Age introduces us to each of the four young people from the clans. As we witness the rise of the new Earth’s first empire. The first season consists of eight episodes: four full-cast episodes, each focusing on one of the clans. And the other four “Legends and Lore” episodes in between.

On November 28, the series will be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Overcast, and anywhere else podcasts are available.
