Variety said that a bar in Richmond, England, is currently advertised on Airbnb as a “historic venue” for a unique promotion that will happen later this year. Even Annette Badland’s character, Mae from Ted Lasso, is identified as the host on the pub’s listing on the house rental website.
“Welcome to The Crown & Anchor, Richmond’s premier Greyhound fan meeting place. We, locals, gather at our welcoming neighborhood pub to celebrate victories, curse at defeats, laugh, and cry through the ups and downs of life and football. And now, while I take the night off, I’m letting a few lucky guests stay over,” adds the description.
Airbnb states that reservations for the limited-time promotion start taking place at noon ET on March 21 for three nights on October 23, 24, or 25. The first three customers to secure a reservation at the $13 per night rate will be eligible for the offer. Four people may spend each night in the bar.
It’s undoubtedly a unique experience for Ted Lasso fans who want to visit the locales from the show in person, as I was fortunate to do there on my most recent trip to London last year.
