Tesla offers factory vinyl wraps for the Model 3 and Model Y

Tesla Vinyl Wraps

There have been many minor tweaks and cosmetic changes in the Tesla universe recently. First, at the bottom of the lineup, the battery-electric manufacturer has made factory vinyl wraps for the 2023 Model 3 and 2023 Model Y available for a short time. Let’s begin with the good news regarding customization.

The palette includes seven colors and two clear options in gloss or satin for body color protection. Crimson Red, Forest Green, Glacier Blue, Satin Ceramic White, Satin Rose Gold, Satin Stealth Black, and Slip Grey are the colors. Each is made of self-healing vinyl urethane and may be ordered through the Tesla app in v4.23.0 or higher, with the limitation that the price includes installation.

The apparent option costs $5,000. $7,500 for black, white, and grey. Blue, green, crimson, and pink gold are priced at $8,000. These rates are comparable to the cost of a high-quality aftermarket wrap. However, we’re interested in the color options since Tesla provides complimentary exterior paint in Midnight Silver Metallic, Pearl White Multi-Coat, Deep Blue Metallic for $1,000, Solid Black for $1,500, and Red Multi-Coat for $2,000.

We’d anticipate a more vibrant palette of wrap colors. Wrapping a 3 or a Y takes five to seven business days; you’ll need to rent your loaner if this is required. For the time being, the only Tesla Service Centres that are participating are in West Covina, California, and Carlsbad, California.
