Tesla Model Y 2025 Gets a Major Upgrade with New Design and Features

The Tesla Model Y 2025 has received a major update, solidifying its status as the world’s best-selling electric vehicle. The refreshed model, codenamed “Juniper”, brings a sleek design, improved technology, and enhanced performance.

On the outside, the 2025 Model Y features a sleeker front fascia with a Cybertruck-inspired LED light bar and slimmer headlights. The rear now boasts a full-width light bar with bold Tesla lettering. It also offers new aerodynamic wheels and fresh color options, including Glacier Blue and Ultra Red.

Inside, Tesla has made comfort a priority. The cabin now includes softer materials on the dashboard and doors, acoustic glazing for a quieter ride, and ambient lighting inspired by the Model 3. Passengers in the back get an 8-inch touchscreen for entertainment, while the front seats are now heated and ventilated.

Performance has also improved. The Long Range AWD version can now reach 550 km on a single charge and accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 4.3 seconds. Charging speeds have increased to 250kW.

The Tesla Model Y 2025 starts at AUD 63,400 (£31,900) and is already available in China and Australia, with a UK launch expected later this year. Tesla continues to set new standards for electric vehicles.
