The WhatsApp mobile messaging app started to work on restricting multi-device functionality.
Use WhatsApp on the Web, Desktop, and different gadgets via way of means of linking them to your phone. You can burn up to 4 related gadgets and one phone at a time. Your private messages, media, and calls are end-to-end- encrypted.
Each related tool connects to WhatsApp independently at the same time as preserving the equal stage of privacy and protection through end-to-end encryption that people who use WhatsApp have come to expect.
But now in a report published on the WA Beta website, company sources said that WhatsApp rolled out this feature to two billion users in July 2021. Users can concurrently use an account on a smartphone or tablet and on the web.
According to the report, WhatsApp has started working on a feature called Companion Mode, which will be worked on in the future, the account is only used on Android tablets as a secondary device and does not connect to iOS tablets.
Also, in simple and direct terms, it can be understood that only iPhone users can access Android tablets as a second device even without the internet.
The company has no end date announced or confirmed regarding the introduction of this mode.
