Apple Introduces Refurbished USB-C Apple Pencil to European Markets
Apple has introduced a new addition to its refurbished store in select European countries, offering the lower-cost Apple Pencil with a USB-C port. This move marks the first time the USB-C variant has appeared in the refurb store, providing customers in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK with an opportunity to purchase it at a discounted price.

Originally launched in November 2023, the refurbished Apple Pencil features a design akin to the Apple Pencil 2 and Pro models, equipped with a USB-C port concealed under a sliding cap for charging and pairing via USB-C cable. It magnetically attaches to iPads equipped with a USB-C port, though it does not support wireless charging or pairing, nor does it include pressure sensitivity or a double-tap gesture for tool switching.

Each refurbished product undergoes rigorous testing to ensure full functionality and is subjected to a meticulous cleaning and inspection process. They are repackaged in a plain white box labeled as refurbished. The discounted price across these European markets reflects approximately a 15% reduction, such as £69 in the UK, down from the usual £79 for a new unit.

Anticipation is high for the availability of refurbished USB-C Apple Pencils in additional regions, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and others, expected in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting opportunity for iPad users looking to enhance their digital experience with the latest Apple accessories.
